The LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) is an important component of the LCFF (Local Control Funding Formula), implemented beginning in 2013-2014. Under the LCFF all LEAs are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified pursuant to EC Section 52060(d). More information can be found here.
The district's 2016-2017 LCAP was presented to the Board of Trustees on May 24, 2016 for initial review. An opportunity for public input (Public Hearing) was provided. The Board of Trustees approved the 2016-17 LCAP on June 14, 2016 prior to adoption of the district's 2016-2017 budget.
