The Nova* project is now complete. After weeks of construction noise and holding classes in temporary accomodations, students and staff are enjoying their new classrooms at the District office site at 17421 Farley Road West in Los Gatos. Classes in the new facility began on October 19th. At an open house on October 20th, members of the Board and community had an opportunity to tour the facility and thanks were extended to the many people who contributed to the project, including: the Board of Trustees for their support; Nova* students and staff for their patience during the renovations; Julianne Yeaman and Steve Cunningham for their tech. support; Lynne Sims, Nova Registrar, for her work behind the scenes, and the facilities crew from Los Gatos High School for facilitating the move. Thank you all!
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated in this summer's European concert tour. Under the leadership of Mr. Michael Boitz, Mr. Duane Otani, and Mr. Jim Yowell, and with the support of their hard-working chaperones, 120 SHS students participated in the Jungrau Music Festival, the Vienna Youth in Music Festival and the Mid Europe Festival.
